Nvidia, a US chipmaker, has posted a record quarterly revenue figure of $22.1 billion for the December quarter, up 265% on the previous year. The company's share price closed up 16.4%, giving it a market value of $1.94 trillion, about $25 billion higher than Australia's GDP.

Armenian company 10web is introducing AI website-building to WordPress, a popular content management system. The platform allows users to quickly generate websites using text prompts, making WordPress more intuitive for beginners. 10web integrates generative AI models like Llama 2, GPT-4, and Stable Diffusion into its site-building platform.

The platform currently generates 1.5 million websites and has a positive cash flow, with plans to add a payment system. The company is generating $5 million in annual recurring revenue and is expected to reach $25 million by the end of next year.

4. Stable Diffusion 3 is a new AI image generator that won't mess up text in pictures, its makers claim

Stable AI, the startup behind Stable Diffusion, has revealed a next-generation AI image generator that improves image quality, works better with multiple subject prompts, and can more accurately include text in the generated image.

The new model, which is not yet widely available, is a step up from its rival, OpenAI's Sora, which generates high-definition videos from simple text prompts. Stability AI is working with experts in misinformation and hateful content to prevent the misuse of the tool by bad actors.

Tableau has launched Pulse, a generative AI tool that automatically surfaces insights in natural language. The tool, which monitors data for metric changes and uses natural language to alert users, is the longtime analytics vendor's first generally available GenAI capability. It is free to all Tableau Cloud customers and comes free with the vendor's embedded analytics tools.

Einstein for Tableau will infuse generative AI throughout the Tableau platform securely and with governance measures, enabling customers to use natural language rather than code to query data, generate code in natural language, and automate processes.
