1. Microsoft previews Copilot feature that watches what you’re looking at on the internet
Microsoft has introduced Copilot Vision, a new feature that allows Copilot to browse the internet alongside users, allowing them to discuss and interact with content. Copilot Vision is available in preview for Copilot Pro subscribers, which requires an active subscription of $20 a month.
The feature is built with privacy and security in mind, and requires an active internet connection to function. The feature is only available in the U.S. and is part of Microsoft Edge, not requiring a Copilot+ PC. Microsoft promises that the data it sees from online content is not used to train AI models.

4. Meta launches open source Llama 3.3, shrinking powerful bigger model into smaller size
Meta's VP of generative AI, Ahmad Al-Dahle, announced the release of Llama 3.3, the latest open-source LLM from the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Quest VR. Llama 3.3 offers top-tier performance and accessibility in a smaller package than prior foundation models, with 70 billion parameters.
It is offered under the Llama 3.3 Community License Agreement, granting a non-exclusive, royalty-free license for use, reproduction, distribution, and modification.

5. AI Mode could turn your next Google search into a conversation
Google Search is set to introduce an AI Mode, known as AIM, which combines human-like interactions from Gemini Live with Google Search and visual analysis from Google Lens. Users can respond to Google Search's results, ask follow-up questions, and interrupt responses.
AI Mode will be available as a tab in the Google app's bottom navigation bar and allow users to use voice, photos, and videos to search. The mode is similar to Gemini Live, but offers a multimodal experience combining text, voice, and images. This could lead to Google Search becoming a facet of Gemini or vice versa, changing how we think about the search engine.
