Google is introducing more AI into its search engine, allowing users to voice questions about images and organize results. This follows a move to address concerns about misleading information in its AI Overviews, which have raised concerns among publishers about reducing traffic to their websites.

2. Open source BI platform Lightdash gets Accel’s backing to bring AI to business intelligence
Lightdash, a business intelligence platform, has raised $11 million in a Series A round of funding led by Accel. The platform allows companies to train AI analysts specific to individual teams' use-cases, enabling anyone in a company to query aggregate business data.
The AI analyst is powered by the same Lightdash API used in its standard product, meaning companies already satisfied with Lightdash's security credentials aren't exposing themselves to any extra risk by using its AI. 3. This homemade drone software finds people when search and rescue teams can’t

5. Fairfax Co. to use AI for screening nonemergency 911 calls
Fairfax County is implementing an AI system to reduce wait times for nonemergency calls. The system will handle non-emergency calls like noise complaints and animal control calls, and will translate calls if the caller's first language isn't English.
The AI system will also help triage calls and route calls to appropriate agencies. The system could also support the county's towing process, which currently relies on fax machines.
