Canva Create 2024 marks a significant milestone in this journey, introducing a new editing experience, enterprise offering, and a range of new products for the workplace.

The new editing experience will be available to the first one million users who discover the secret portal hidden in their homepage, and will be available to the entire Canva community from August. 2. PwC strikes OpenAI deal to become the first reseller of ChatGPT Enterprise

PwC has partnered with OpenAI to offer ChatGPT Enterprise licenses to businesses, allowing them to upsell their services to optimize workloads. This is part of PwC's long-term AI investment to expand its technology ecosystem and integrate gen AI deeper into its platform.

ChatGPT Enterprise is tailored for large business users and offers enterprise-grade security, unlimited access to GPT-4, extended context windows, advanced data analysis capabilities, and customization options. PwC is one of the largest users of the product worldwide, with over 267,000 employees.

3. China Chipmakers Catching Up Fast in AI, SenseTime’s Xu Says

Asia has a shortage of computational power for AI, lagging behind the US, but China has the talent and data to make up lost ground, according to Xu Xu, a co-founder of SenseTime, a pioneer in artificial intelligence. SenseTime has been placed on a US investment blacklist due to US sanctions on AI.

The US trade controls preventing the import of Nvidia's advanced AI accelerators have sparked the need for domestic alternatives from Huawei Technologies and Shanghai Biren Technology. SenseTime aims to turn profitable within the next two years, raising $6 billion over the past decade and investing a third in research and development.

4. OpenAI former safety leader Jan Leike joins rival AI startup Anthropic

Jan Leike, a lead safety researcher at OpenAI, has resigned and joined rival AI startup Anthropic. Leike resigned from OpenAI on May 15, just days before the company dissolved its superalignment group, which focused on long-term AI risks.

5. Former OpenAI board member explains why they fired Sam Altman
