Apple is facing calls to withdraw its controversial AI feature that generates inaccurate news alerts on its latest iPhones. UK-based Cera has raised $150 million in a mix of debt and equity to scale its proprietary software platform and in-home healthcare provider. The company, which uses AI modeling to predict patients' risk of illness or injury, claims that its AI-driven platform has resulted in hospitalization reductions of up to 70%, a 20% reduction in patient falls, and faster hospital discharges.
Cera has raised over $407 million in equity and debt to date, and has expanded into other service lines such as nursing services, physiotherapy, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health services in the home.

4. UK throws its hat into the AI fire
